Number 1076 is an Alco RF1A.  It was originally built for the Army as RSD1 #8046 in 1943.  The Alaska Railroad acquired it in 1949 and rebuilt it to RF1A #1076 in 1950.  It was retired and scrapped in 1973.   (photo taken in 1970)
