Number 1526 is an EMD F7A.  It was built in 1952 (builder #16522) for the DRGW, #5724.  The Alaska Railroad bought it in 1970, rebuilt it in 1978 and then traded it in to EMD. (September 1, 1971)   Photograph by Phillip C. Faudi Courtesy of the Mark Earnest Collection
