No. 4011 the "Spirit of Denali" had electrical problems soon after departing EMD's Juniata Plant in Altoona, PA on March 16, 2000. It was shoped at Conway Diesel where Harmon Electronic and other factory representatives worked on it all day.  It was repaired and left Juniata the same day.  It later caught up with 4008 at Chicago's Proviso Yard and accompanied it all the way to Anchorage, arriving there on April 17.
