Living the dream

Evening meals are sit down affairs. Our crew of 12 required two tables. One of the evenings Terry and I ate with just our grandsons. How do the waiters deal with young ones? Amazingly perfect! Coloring books and crayons are standard fare. Kid friendly foods abound. Cody ordered alphabet soup. He took two bites and decided what he didn't like it. The head waiter immediately takes it away and asks what he would like instead. He orders chicken fingers and French fries. The waiter automatically puts ketchup on his plate. Cody wants chocolate milk. Cody gets chocolate milk. Cody drops his cloth napkin. The waiter brings him a new one. All the grandsons are served a special sunrise daiquiri (non alcoholic) which they loved. Cody finishes half his dinner. The waiter asks him what he wants for desert. A love boat sundae. Out comes a huge ice cream boat resembling a banana split. He finishes half of it. The waiter brings out cookies. Typical treatment for every grandson. Man, there will be a huge adjustment phase when they return home!
