Thursday, 13 March 2025: Alaska Railroad Corporation (ARRC) Fairbanks Yard Job heads railroad South as they exit Eielson AFB on the ARRC'S Eielson Branch. Todays train had two GP38-2's, numbers 2008 and 2007 along with a healthy cut of empty coal cars from the United States Military Railroad (USMR). This is one of my favorite spots on the branch with the two Alaska Bold painted GP's looking pretty nice in low evening light.
