We ended our cruise weaving through the British Columbia Inside Passage which provided spectacular views of coastal rainforests, beaches, waterfalls and mountains. As we neared Cormorant Island a gentleman in a motorboat raced along side us then stopped and began playing songs on his trumpet. His rendition of “The Star Spangled Banner” and “When the Saints Go Marching In” brought rounds of applause from the cruise ship passengers. God chose the last day of the cruise to shine His brilliant Face upon us. It was an incredible contrast to my dark chemo days. I praised Him for my life, health and these wonderful days in Alaska and Canada! 6/6/17 |
