Ketchikan is the southeastern most city in Alaska. It is also nicknamed the Rain Capital of Alaska. Average rainfall is a foot a month! All four of us donned rain gear, screwed smiles on our faces and ventured out into the cold wind driven rain. Terry and I wanted to see the Totem Poles in the city which also helped us to find a geocache. We all shopped and dined and then hot footed it back to the ship, but not before Terry snagged a geocache at the Liquid Sunshine Gauge. 6/5/17 |
