Comments: I was born in Dayton but grew up in Pittsburgh. I have lived in Lake Havasu City, Az. since 1969. I too have been involved in Scouting since 1967. 17 years as Scoutmaster of Troop 55. Silver Beaver. Only made it to Second Class. I am slowly converting my N scale to Alaska RR. Been to Alaska 5 times but never road the train. We drove up 3 times. Great drive. Just long. WE are planning our second cruise there for 2020 and will include the ride to Denali. I backpacked there in 2015 with 2 of my sons and my brother. Hope your weather was better than ours. 2 days of heavy rain and 50 degrees was too much. Great site. Thanks!!!

Comments: Enjoyed your historical and product information about the McKinley Explorer dome cars as well as the Bachmann line of reproductions. Fascinating and a great reference for building up a collection of HO scale model railroading stock.

Comments: Thank you so much for this detailed treasure trove of knowledge! I have learned so much about this special railroad and it just gets me excited for my trip in Alaska on May 23 - June 7. Of course, much riding and chasing of the ARR are in the works.
Thanks again!

Comments: Just wanted to say thank you for all your photos, especially the ones of the old F7's the ex-drgw equipment. Wished the ARR would have hung on a little longer to ex-drgw 5571 I have an Athearn Genisis version of her, not many knew she was truly an F7, because of the F9 grill work you see on the outside. What a treat to see her in operation in Alaska too.

Comments: John, Thanks so much for hosting my father's photo collection from WW2 on your website. He was one of many stationed in Whittier Alaska, in practical total isolation, and charged with moving necessary military material from ships to the rail system. Few people have ever heard of Whittier or its role in the War and your site has helped to spread this information to many. Regards, Ken
