yellow diamondModeling: "Hello Alaska N-scalers.  I am Steve Williams.  Even though I reside in Southern California, I am nonetheless a huge fan of the ARR! I believe many n scalers, like myself, would like to see Kato rerun the Alaska n scale 10-car smoothside passenger set.  We may get our wish if we can persuade the fine folks at Kato to rerelease it. Here is an idea: Go to Kato USA's website (katousa.com), click on Contact, click on Suggest a Model, and complete the brief survey. If enough N scalers request this coveted set, I think we stand a good chance that Kato will reissue it soon! I appreciate your help!"

Upon arrival we found our home was still standing, but experienced some significant exterior damage. Also we lost 53 trees 26 of which were large mature trees. Fortunately, we had an army of family, friends and coworkers who worked from dawn until dusk. Some of these folks had access to large equipment such as chain saws, chippers, bobcats, dump trucks and tractors. What should have taken months was cleaned up in a mere seven days. We just got our water and power back today. Our thoughts and prayers go out to many who experienced great loss. - 6/2/19
