note: A blood test has revealed Laura's vision loss is due to Bartonella
disease (cat scratch fever) which she got from a stray kitten. In
some cases, the vision loss is irreversible. However, due to your
prayers, antibiotics, steroids and the body's immune system, Laura's vision
has partially returned. Using only her left (affected) eye, she can
now tell the doctors how many fingers they are holding up. Hopefully,
her vision will continue to improve. Thanks so much for your thoughts
and prayers! It made all the difference! |

Admin: Yes! I am finally able to get in to modify this website!
My Internet Service Provider started playing musical servers on October
25th and they screwed up several things. My first order of business
is to remove 8-10 MB of files and put them onto a Geocities site.
I was close to my 50 MB quota, but the new server says I am using 58 MB.
How this happened I will never know. Next, I will get up two Pictures
of the Week, the missing one for October 29th and a new one for November
5th. I will leave both of them up until November 12th. I also have
a news item to add, plus a few other odds and ends. I'll post all
modifications to the website on my "What's New" page as they occur.
